JAG London are a luxury, high end swimwear brand based in Bedford, who launched in March 2018!
The owner, Jag Lehal, approached Shynee to design and build an ecommerce site on Magento tying in social media channels which were created and run by the team at Shynee. As a new brand the social media channels needed to gain followers and engagement quickly, from no following! Something which is a challenge, but always fun!
The website needed to reflect the luxurious nature of the brand in the colouring and font, and by using photos from product and location shoots, highlighting the quality of the materials, and the design.
Our team sat and deliberated with Jag on a campaign for social, how we were going to approach pushing her brand all without releasing images of the product too soon.
To counter this, we gradually introduced ‘sneak peaks’ of garments, behind the scenes from photoshoots and inspirational shots of beaches, all in keeping with the glamorous nature of JAG London.
We researched into the most used hashtags and our competitors thoroughly, and on a regular basis, in order to make our campaign a success.
We reached out to popular influencers on social media, and the models from our shoots and arranged influencer campaigns to tie in with the launch of the website at the end of March.
To keep the client aware of progress, we produced weekly social media reports enabling full transparency and open discussion on the campaigns.
We grew a substantial and engaged following on Instagram before launch, and had a great sign up on the newsletter all in time for the launch and the full release of the products.
