Skinforia are an online destination shop that stock a wide range of beauty and skincare brands, from popular brands such as Dermalogica, to more obscure brands like Gallinee.
Initially tasked with taking over the hosting of the website and SEO it soon became clear that the website needed a rebrand too!
We ran consumer research to see the sticking points of the websites and discuss the reasons why people wouldn’t buy from Skinforia. We worked with the client to design a new colour scheme and design for the website that represented the brand as a luxury, high end retailer.
We created an SEO plan for the first 6 months from launch working through the brands, the products and creating new pages for categories that didn’t exist yet including skin concerns that allowed people to see the best products to help.
We set up a Google Ads account and began a PPC campaign on a relatively low budget to increase sales and work on getting people to know the brand. This worked amazingly well and sales rocketed. Along with Google Ads we ran Facebook ads across Facebook and Instagram to raise brand awareness and to drive sales.
From a combination of SEO, Google Ads and Facebook ads, traffic to the site increased dramatically and sales climbed month on month.
